Dr. Green helped me get through a very difficult time during my pregnancy. From the moment I first met her, I felt safe and able to discuss everything I was going through. Dr. Green is kind, thoughtful and empathetic. I also appreciate that she responds to concerns and prescription requests via email quickly.

I have bipolar and wanted to understand how best to plan for a pregnancy. I really appreciated the way Dr Green listened sympathetically and took the time to talk Me through all of my different medications and the risks and benefits that came with each of them. I left the session feeling really well informed and confident about knowing about the next steps. I also appreciated the detailed letter that set out all of the advice that we had talked about in the session.

Dr Green was extremely friendly and approachable, she put me at my ease and didn't make me feel judged. She listened carefully to my story and efficiently put together a really sensible plan. Dr Green was very prompt in all correspondence. I would highly recommend her to others in a similar position.

I would highly recommend Dr Green. I had been suffering from anxiety for a couple of years which was getting progressively worse. I had just quit my job and I was about to go through a 2nd round of IVF and I didn't really know which way to turn and wanted some expert advice around mental health and pregnancy. Lucinda listened to me, made me feel understood, explained my options clearly and helped me make a plan of action. She recommended a psychologist who I have been working with regularly for several months and despite still being on the IVF journey I feel like a different person to last year. I now know that I have a support network around me. I have seen Lucinda twice since the initial appointment and she checks in and I know that she is there if required. I don't have medical insurance cover for mental health so I appreciated upfront discussions and keeping cost down right from the beginning.

I was referred to Dr Lucinda Green from another practice in Wimpole Street, for the sole purpose to ensure the medication I take to control migraines would be safe for pregnancy. This was particularly important to me as my husband and I had been delaying our plans to conceive until I was off my pills - a plan which we soon realised was impossible. Dr Green saw me in the Portland hospital. The prospect of seeing a prenatal psychiatrist was daunting, however the entrance in to the clinic was nice and discreet. A friendly security guard was stationed at a desk on ground floor who waved me over to the lift. Dr. Green met with me in a nice bright and airy room - the atmosphere was very relaxed and Dr. Green was very easy to talk to. Her questioning techniques during our meet were very gentle, but she made me realise there is no harm in getting extra help and if there are any mental health issues we are hiding there is no shame at all in admitting to them. This is particularly important when there are plans to introduce a little one to the world. Dr Green provided a very detailed report which I shared with my NHS GP and the antenatal care. I have since been referred to the mental health midwife team and I would not have thought to do this without the advice received from Dr. Green. I have no immediate plans to return to Dr. Green as the advice received with one meet was enough to set a very solid plan for pregnancy, however I do see the benefits of having regular meets. This all depends on the mother to be and her needs. If you have ANY doubts relating to your mental health and pregnancy - Dr. Green will definitely help you and put you at ease - I cannot recommend her enough.
